Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-08-24
Overview
This privacy policy applies to StoreHop (“the app”), a utility for browsing regional App Store storefronts, developed by Eden. It explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information the App Collects
StoreHop does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
Data Stored on Your Device
Your preferences — enabled storefronts, favorites, your primary storefront, and recent switch history — are stored locally in a shared container on your device so the app, its widgets, and its controls see the same state. This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app removes the app itself; on Mac, the settings stay behind and can be removed by running defaults delete group.io.lzhlovesjyq.StoreHop in Terminal.
Network Access
The app itself makes no network connections. When you switch storefronts, the app asks the operating system to open an App Store link; any network activity from that point on is between the App Store app and Apple, and is subject to Apple’s privacy policy.
Third-Party Services
The app integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services. Downloading the app through the App Store is subject to Apple’s privacy policy.
Children’s Privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
