Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does StoreHop change my Apple ID’s country or region?

A: No. StoreHop only switches the storefront you are browsing in the App Store app. Your account, payment method, and subscriptions stay exactly as they are, and purchases still follow your account’s region.

Q: What do the Primary storefront and the Recent list do?

A: Primary is the default target when you switch without picking a storefront — one tap takes you there. Recent keeps your last few switches, so Previous Storefront can always take you back.

Q: How do I use StoreHop from Siri, Shortcuts, widgets, or Control Center?

A: The same two actions — Switch Storefront and Previous Storefront — are available from Siri, Spotlight, and Shortcuts on both platforms, as Home Screen and Today View widgets, and as Control Center controls (Control Center requires iOS 18 or macOS 26).

Q: Can StoreHop open a specific app’s page in another region’s store?

A: No. Switching lands on the storefront’s home page. Opening a specific app’s page in another region is not possible with current App Store behavior.
