Q: How do I open the search panel?
A: Click the gear icon in the menu bar, or press Option-Space anywhere.
Q: How do favorites and recents work?
A: Star any result to pin it. Favorites and recently opened panes always sort first, and they drive the “Favorite Settings” widget.
Q: A pane is missing from the list (e.g. Touch ID).
A: Panes that need hardware your Mac doesn’t have (Touch ID, Battery, Trackpad) are hidden automatically — they wouldn’t open anyway.
Q: Does SettingsHop work offline?
A: Yes. The app never touches the network; every jump is a local deep link into System Settings.
